Full Description: The Sandy Hook Lighthouse is the oldest operating lighthouse in the United States. It is located at the northern end of the Sandy Hook Unit of Gateway National Recreation Area in the Highlands. Amazingly well-preserved, this unique octagonal tower dates back to the 18th century and has been in service since 1764. Except for being darkened during the Civil War, Spanish-American War, World War I and II, the beacon has been operating ever since.

Full Description: This will be a trip to the historic plant of “Bethlehem Steel”, the second largest steel manufacturer in the nation located in the “Steel Stacks” campus. We will have the musical Sunday brunch in the famous Hotel Bethlehem, followed by the guided “the Rise and Fall of Bethlehem Steel” Walking Tour. Having some time in the Wind Creek Bethlehem Casino will also be an option. December is a time when the town of Bethlehem will be decorated with Christmas lights
